Certainly non! The hardest, if you tin even call it that – is the slicing of the meat! Apart from that information technology'due south pretty straightforward to make!

In fact, follow the instructions as is and at that place's no need to brand extra preparations beforehand except for the meat-slicing function!

Which Cut of Beef to Use?

For this recipe, you can use chuck roast, flank steak, skirt steak or sirloin steak.  They have plenty fat in their layers to give them flavor and works then well with this sweet-salty complex-flavored sauce.

If you prefer a bacteria cut of meat, I've also tried this with beefiness round steak or roast. Only slice it thinly and against the grain.

If you feel your slices won't be even or that the cut won't be as make clean every bit yous desire it to exist, stick the meat in the freezer for xv to twenty minutes. Cold meat cuts better than meat at room temperature.

Tin I use other types of meat?

Yes, y'all tin can make this pressure cooker beef and broccoli recipe with chicken. Only adjust the cooking time because craven cooks faster (see your instant pot instructional transmission for guidance on cooking craven chunks). I suggest using the darker meat like thighs so they absorb more season and won't dry out.

Can I use frozen broccoli?

Yes, you can utilise frozen broccoli for this instant pot beef and broccoli recipe. Fresh florets are preferred, merely if you don't have access to fresh broccoli, simply replace it with the frozen ones.

Exercise I need to add sesame oil?

Don't omit the sesame oil if possible considering information technology enhances the flavor of this dish. In fact, I add together it at the end instead of cooking it with the meat then that it retains its aroma and flavor.

Then what are you waiting for? Make it before long. I tin can assure you this would become a family favorite! Serve with rice!
